TOTALLY BLOWN!

I'M HURT YA'LL!  Riding on a high of FINALLY receiving my new replacement celly after being on back order for it seems....MONTHS!  I started this diet on Jan. 1st, 2006.  NO PORK, NO RED MEAT, NO BREAD, NO PASTA & NO RICE.  It was hard.  Forget caviar dreams......I found myself dreaming of macaroni & cheese.  Crazy? I know.  Well, I was so excited to go to get weighed yesterday, only to find that I hadn't lost 1 SINGLE POUND!!!  Do you know how foul that is?  So, the doctor says,...I don't think you are eating enough.  I think your body is in starvation mode.  I'm think WTF....people who starve are body as hell.  I've heard of people as being fluffy and anorexic.  That's some ish I can't fathom.

I went on a defiant binge and had a bag o lays and some lobster rolls from THE LOBSTER.  My stomach was queasy (so it's the last binge until my b-day in june).  I forgot (legitimately forgot) to pay my light bill.  So, I had to pretty much shuffle around in the dark last night and this morning.  Only to get to work and find out..... DAMN!!!

WE LOST MORE OF OUR LIVING HISTORY!

FUNNY...MY PROBLEMS MEAN NOTHING ALL OF A SUDDEN.  I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT THE STATE OF MY PEOPLE,...BLACK PEOPLE.  WE'VE LOST SOMETHING, AND I HAVE NO CLUE AS TO HOW TO GET IT BACK.

......OR IS IT TOO LATE?

Jazz.. First important thing to remember is it takes some people longer then others to lose weight.. I know after a month of doing without certain foods you expected something to be gone.. I can imagine how you felt. It is all about following through with it. The weight will eventually start sheding off, and when it does it will come off quicker then you have ever imagined possible... Starvation is not the answer. I went about my diet the absolute wrong way. Sure I lost over 100 pounds, but I injured myself doing it.. (Call me if you want the details).. Another important thing to remember is that you can have a treat occasionally.. it is just knowing when to have it and when to say no.. I am by far no expert on losing weight, but I have been through it, and I know what your going through. It is something that your going to accomplish. God has a plan for each of us. He knows exactly when we are capable enough to handle the stress and temptations of losing weight. IT is a process with a lot of red tape... I am praying for ya... God Bless ya Jazz!!!

We have lost something...and continue to as the "old guard" passes on. I'm not so sure it is about getting it back as it is finding a way to effectively move forward. We're lost in more ways than one -- somebody's President swore in more trouble on the supreme court today. Aye Dios Mio...Direction is definitely needed.
